Every dealer is different and will have different policies for different matters. A VW dealer will be able to do most of the work that an Audi dealer can do but anything under warranty has to be taken to an authorized Audi repair center, usually only Audi dealers. If you are talking about taking in your 10 cylinder A6 to a VW dealer, they will not be able to work on this, but as far as any typical Audi A3 or A4 with the 2.0t engine, they shouldn't have a problem. Call and ask before you go up there.
